Dimensions

The dimensions of the artworks shown on this site are the actual dimensions of the watercolors alone.

Artworks that are delivered with a frame will be approximately 13 centimeters or 5 inches larger in width and height. For example an artwork of 56 x 76 cm will be approximately 69 x 89 cm or 22 x 30" will be approximately 27 x 35", when framed. The mat , if supplied, will cover up 5 mm or 3/16 inches of the artwork itself. The actual dimensions may vary slightly (plus or minus 2.5 cm or 1") depending on the selected frame and the size of the painting.

It is always possible not to use a mat and simply mount the watercolor on the foam core support. For large scale works, it is a requirement. Nevertheless a white space will be left around the painting with the same dimensions of a mat (approximately 6 cm or 2.5 ") and thus will not change the dimensions of the of the framed picture.
